Christmas Presents
I have absolutely no idea what's going to end up here, if anything. I suspect something will end up here and I might pull it from other lists but we shall see. Maybe I won't do any Christmas knitting. Maybe all I'll wind up doing is Christmas knitting. I suppose this is a wait-and-see section :)

1. Susan's Hat
2. Traveling Vines Socks
3. Little Man's Baby Blanket
4. Paradiddle Socks (see Secret Sock Club Bag section)
5. Paradiddle Collection of Hats

I've acquired more yarn for Little Man's goat (as well as another goat Husband sprung upon me - this time it'll be gold and black, though). ::sigh::

This past week has been interesting. Little Man started school on Wednesday.

So far, he loves school, which I am thankful for. There are kids that are crying and carrying on every morning. Little Man is not among them. We get there, he runs around for a bit before school, I give him his hug & kiss, he's like, "bye mom," and that's that. Thank God.

He only goes in the mornings (8:30-12) but it's enough that I get a break from him, get to spend some alone time with Stormageddon, and I can get some things done without him crawling all over me.

The walk to and from school is about 1.17 miles and I do it twice a day. The mornings are usually fine but when we get him at noon, it can be a little warm. Oh well. The weather will turn soon enough.

And then there's this little guy.......he's discovered books :)

He's so close to walking. He can consistently do 2-3 steps but the other day he did 5-6 a couple times. He's also very much getting into everything and I think he's teething again. He's been waking up in the middle of the night again and he's been super clingy with me. I was going to go crafting with a friend yesterday and he was so frickin' ornery that I couldn't go. ::sigh::

Anyway, I hope you're all having a lovely weekend. It's hot here so we're hiding out, trying to stay cool.

  1. Yay on staying school! I'm so glad he took to it without a hitch. Preschool is so fun and socialization is important in one's development.
